Imagine a beach postcard come to life. Pristine white sand stretches endlessly, turquoise waves lap at the shore, and lush green mountains rise dramatically in the distance. This isn’t a fantasy – it’s Ines’s Secret Beach near Hanalei Beach Park, a jewel in the crown of Kauai’s north shore.

Located just to the west of Hanalei Beach Park, Ines’s Secret Beach is one of the open secrets of this part of the coast. Most people flock to Hanalei Beach Park because of the parking and access as well as the facilities, stores and food options. However if you go just two minutes to the west along Route 560 (Kuhio Highway), you will cross Wapia Bridge and Ines’s Secret Beach is directly to your right. There is no official parking here but there are enough places to pull off approximately 15 cars. That keeps this beach free of crowds!

Beyond the Beach
